We also own and operate Farr West Animal Hospital. Jeff has been a veterinarian for over 20 years and brings all his experience to our breeding program. Our daughter met her husband when he came on as an intern to our practice preparing for veterinary school. They later married and he has been a veterinarian at our practice for 6 years and will be the medical director starting in 2025. Our family has been involved in the animal care business for a very long time and that has given us a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge about pet health and behavior. We will be here to help you and answer any questions that might come up. This also gives us the unique opportunity to take our dogs to work with us, which is a wonderful thing!

We live on ten acres in the shadow of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. This provides a rich environment for puppy socialization. Our puppies get exposed to all kinds of sights and sounds during this crucial developmental period. When they are outside, they get to hear and see all kinds of animals as well as hear traffic, tractors and even a train whistle. While inside the puppy nursery and in our house, they get exposed to to the everyday sounds of family living including children, T.V., a piano, dishwasher, radio etc. Derek and Lauren also live in our same idyllic community on acreage less than a mile from our home!

This is our puppy nursery. The puppies are either whelped here or in our home. Once they are past the crucial stage right after birth, usually at 2 weeks, they are moved to the puppy nursery. Having the nursery is a wonderful thing! This gives the puppies their own space free from constant disruption and exposure to the foot traffic of busy children and their friends. This allows us to control their environment a little closer. They are pre-spoiled and socialized by our family. The puppies are bathed regularly and have their nails trimmed often after about 4 weeks to start to get them ready for a life of grooming! They are also eventually taught to use a doggie door and finally are exposed to crate training. All of this is done to make certain that we have given them the very best start we can. Our goal is to provide you with a well rounded, confident puppy. We want to set you and your puppy up for success!
